I had a very creative morning yesterday and today I tried out some new photography techniques. I am happy with the results (both the books and pics). Natural lightening really DOES make a huge difference.
I stuck all but one of these books in my shop so far. They will be out of the shop already on Wednesday, so if anyone wants to snap one up, you have about one day to do it.

What caused the creative juices to flow? Sometimes we can be in the "zone" and sometimes it's just not there... it would be nice to figure out what circumstances allow us to get in that zone!
Well, a few hours of uninterrupted time in the morning was key. I'm thinking about getting up at 5:00 some mornings and working for a couple of hours before the rest of the house wakes up. It's just really hard to be creative while multi-tasking OR being exhausted from a day of mothering when I try to work from 9-12 pm. It was fun, so getting up early would be worth it. I just have to try to go to bed earlier.
